Gluten Digest by Now Foods, with the BioCore® DPP IV compound (dipeptidyl peptidase IV), is a digestive enzyme designed to support the digestive process and provide the body with complete health, starting with a cleansing and detoxification of the organism.
This enzyme specifically breaks down peptides that contain proline and are difficult to digest, found mainly in dairy products and cereals. Now Foods Gluten Digest also contains amylase and glucoamylase enzymes that help break down carbohydrates; the proteases in the Now Foods Gluten Digest are stable in the acidic environment of the stomach and their formula is 100% vegetable.
